Tega Cay’s city events like; the free concerts, 4th of July all day celebration including a fireworks show, Fall Festival, and area parks, are very popular with Tega Cay Residents and many other local residents outside of Tega Cay.

In an effort to keep these events and facilities at a high standard, the City sought to raise the necessary funds without impacting tax revenues. After discussing different ideas with volunteers in the City, Mayor Sheppard and City Staff came up with a way to give our sponsors more publicity and raise even more funds while also giving area residents the opportunity to enjoy a fun filled outing at one of the City’s greatest amenities.

Hence, the Tega Cay Mayors’ Cup Golf Tournament was created to help support the fundraiser mission.

The Tega Cay Mayors’ Cup Golf Tournament was a tremendous success in its first year and exceeded everyone’s expectations in its first year.

The 3rd Annual Mayors’ Cup Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday March 22th, 2013  at the Tega Cay Golf Club.

After the tournament, we’ll gather at the Pavilion to award our tournament winners and raffle off prizes while enjoying food from enjoying food from Casual Water.

Tournament Details

The tournament will be a 4-man Captain’s Choice tournament with a 1:30 PM shotgun start. We will be using bogey as your partner and mulligans will be for sale the day of the tournament (maximum of one per person).
